With its coral reef stretching for more than 12 km, the lagoon is the ideal place to swim and admire the coral reefs and colorful fish of the Marine Nature Reserve, equipped with fins, mask and snorkel. Relax on the long, warm sandy beaches, lined with coconut palms and filaos, or enjoy the lagoon in complete tranquillity and take part in water sports: transparent kayaking, stand-up paddling, sailing… For diving enthusiasts, you’ll be amazed by the richness of the depths.

Water temperature varies between 22 and 30°C, depending on the season. The quality of the bathing water complies with European standards, and the Blue Flag is displayed on the supervised beaches of Saint-Paul.

Important information for safe bathing

Only go in the water on supervised beaches and when lifeguards are present.
Look out for and respect the color of the flags.
