The beach and its gardens, Saint Pierre

The beach

This is a white sand beach of coral origin. It’s very pleasant for swimming and sunbathing, even though it’s very exposed to the wind. The lagoon’s transparent water and turquoise reflections reveal many colorful tropical fish. It’s also safe for children. The bathing area has a lifeguard station, public toilets and showers. If you’re feeling peckish, you’ll find snack bars and restaurants along the beach.

The gardens

Located at the back of the beach, they are surrounded by inviting green spaces and pedestrian walkways. Many families come here to picnic and relax in the shade of the banyan trees, while their children enjoy the water games.
