This district is a village in its own right within the Saint-Pierre urban area, separated from the town center by the Rivière d’Abord. A traditional village, its inhabitants are attached not only to their land, but also to the sea. Terre-Sainte is also known as a fishing village. Try to visit in the morning, when the fishermen return. You can also stroll through during the day, for a picnic in the shade of the tall banyan trees, facing the small white-sand beach.
