The Saint-Pierre mosque, “Atyaboul Massadjid”, meaning “the purest of mosques”, was built on the site of a former mosque dating from 1913. Inaugurated in 1975, it practises Sunni Islam according to the Hanafite rite. Green, the color of paradise, dominates the floor, while calligraphy, precious woods and other ornaments lend this beautiful edifice an atmosphere of solemn meditation. A magical, refined place to discover on your own or with a guide.
