The Maison Carrère is a building dating back to the 19th century. In 1905, Raphaël Carrère, a wealthy merchant, moved in with his family and undertook extension work, adding the first floor of the house, a garage and a new gate opening onto Rue de Paris. The house is listed as a Monument Historique. Guided tours of the house are available every hour.
