La Fenêtre des Makes

Spectacular, this viewpoint is accessible by car and gives you a bird’s eye view of the whole cirque de Cilaos. As with all mountain viewpoints, you need to get to the Fenêtre des Makes very early in the morning to enjoy the view without the clouds. Hikes and walks in the surrounding area are also possible.
