Temple Chane

The Temple of Eternal Prosperity, built in 1896, is dedicated to the God Guan Di. In front of the entrance are two small altars: one dedicated to the God of the gate that protects the house, the other to the God of Heaven. In addition to its cult function, the temple was also an anchorage point for Chinese migrants. They were welcomed at the temple and gathered there after a hard day’s work to worship the Ancestors and the Gods, as well as to play games.

Lisi Tong Temple

The Temple de la Traversée Heureuse was built in 1897. It is home to the Thiaw, Law and Tong families. In 1981, the temple was completely rebuilt.
