Access: at the end of the D70.

The Belvédère de Bois-Court rises to an altitude of around 1,400 m, and features several kiosks. It offers a breathtaking view of the ramparts of Cilaos, the islet of Grand Bassin and its waterfall some 700 m below. Access is only possible via a freight elevator, which carries daily essentials, and a steep path.
