Low Mafate circuit

We offer two ideas for multi-day tours of the cirque.“High Mafate Circuit” and this one. There are many possible itineraries. We present here two itineraries which are also complementary and which, in just a few days, will give you an idea of the richness and beauty of the landscapes of this unique cirque.

Itinerary: Rivière des Galets – Grand-Place (overnight) – Îlet à Bourse – Îlet à Malheur – Aurère (overnight) – Rivière des Galets.
Access: Rivière des Galets with 4×4 cab to Deux Bras (cab fare: €14 one-way per person. Half-price for children under 10).
Duration: 3 days – 2 nights in Mafate. Three to four hours’ walking each day.
Difficulty: family (from age 6).
